An intelligent lux Zip Hood hybrid, combining two of our best-selling reversible and modular accessories – the Elements Zip Hood and the Cropped Aviator Shearling Vest.

The new and luxurious reversible Leather and Shearling Zip Hood is engineered using the finest gold-standard Italian shearling, leather, and our signature quilted water-repellent nylons, filled with super-light and extra-lofty wadding. Inspired by the style and functionality of vintage aviator jackets, the multifunctional hybrid hood has a cropped silhouette and acts as a hooded thermal vest layer without the fit restriction of a vest, yet with the benefit and warmth of a generously cozy shearling hood.

Combining original and unique styling with performance thermal function and wind protection, the hood easily fastens inside any of our quilts, parkas, and jackets for an authentic flight jacket look without the weight of the traditional style. Alternatively, the hood can be simply zipped up and layered under any garment for added protection against the elements.

This style offers two unique and distinctive modular accessories in one. Wear on the hand-painted nappa leather side when it rains to protect the soft and luxurious shearling side.

Button the hood inside the neckline of your jacket. When you reverse your piece, unbutton and reattach it to the inside neckline of the new side of your jacket.

If you are looking for a multifunctional and modular layered look, wear both a hood and a collar together simply by layering the hood zipped up under a jacket, while attaching and buttoning a modular collar to the inside neckline of the jacket. The ultimate thermal protection.
