This unique piece is part of a special collection that celebrates the masterful work of Gee’s Bend – a small, remote community of women quilters in Alabama. By transforming leftover fabrics from Marfa Stance production in Italy into a wearable work of art, this collaboration generates much-needed income for the community. Each distinctive geometric design took over a week to make, and is signed with the moniker of one of the 38 artisans that contributed to its creation.

Understated on one side and with a colourful and unique geometric design on the other, this special version of our Cropped Quilt features a handmade front panel hand sewn by Gee’s Bend quilter Rachel Pettway.

Due to the nature of this philanthropic collaboration and the special edition one-of-a-kind pieces, in which proceeds go directly to fund the Quilters and Community Manager in the Bend, all purchases will be final and non-refundable.
