Tell us about your background and talk us through your career journey so far.

I got my start in the industry as an assistant to Mosaic principal Jimmy Miller and went on to work directly with celebrities. In that role, I built relationships on-set with artists, which would eventually lead me to The Wall Group.

I joined The Wall Group as the agency’s first employee in Los Angeles in 2002, working alongside founder Brooke Wall as we helped to pioneer the careers of the first “celebrity glam squads”. The red carpet and Hollywood became a booming business for the artists we represent and The Wall Group LA experienced immense growth.

In 2022, I was elevated to Senior Vice President and Co-Head of Fashion Representation at WME Fashion, overseeing The Wall Group and IMG Models globally.

What are you most proud of?

In 2000 The Wall Group had 40 artists signed, and we currently represent over 250 of the best artists across styling, hair, makeup, grooming, nails, and set design. We have offices in New York, Los Angeles and London and are continuing to expand internationally. Working hand-in-hand with our artists to support and build their careers, and to see how the recognition for the work and craft of the creatives we represent has been recognized over the past nearly 25 years has been incredible.

I’m also very proud of the teams I lead at The Wall Group and IMG Models. They are the best in the business and the care with which our managers guide the careers of the talent they work with is unmatched.

How do you scout for talent and what advice do you have for any freelance creatives who wish to be represented?

Our most trusted scouting method when looking for emerging artists to sign is looking at assistants who have strong recommendations from our artists. While every artist will follow a different path, there is so much value in learning from an established artist, from both a technical standpoint and business perspective. For digitally native artists, social media has added a new layer to representation and discovery.

How did you discover the brand?

I first discovered the brand through Brooke Wall and Gucci Westman. I had seen both of them wearing Marfa jackets and loved how chic they were. Coincidentally, Brooke asked me to help introduce Marfa Stance to my community in Jackson Hole and the rest is history!

How do you style your Marfa Stance and what is your favourite combination?

This is a tough question because I love all of my Marfa Stance pieces! I consider Marfa Stance to be my uniform in the fall/winter months and mix and match their sweaters with my utility pants. I get cold easily and love that Marfa sweaters have a big neck that I can take on and off when needed. I do the same with my shearling collars on my jackets and they keep me so warm when I need it.
