Georgia founded Marfa Stance in 2019, but the idea and concept had been in the making for years. As the Founder, her role encompasses all aspects of the brand (and lots of hours!), but her passion remains in design. She always designs with a purpose, and for Marfa Stance, that meant fusing style and function into one garment.

Building an inclusive and multigenerational community is at the heart of the brand. Therefore, many of you will have met Georgia in person, as she attends the majority of our global trunk shows and pop-ups.

‘I’ve found myself taking it back to the original Signature Quilt recently, adding one of our new Aviator Collars. You can’t go wrong with this classic piece. I love how our collection has grown taking into consideration our new markets, customers feedback, and our core design value of using surplus fabrics to create new special edition patchwork styles. I also am so happy to see how our team has grown and developed. I’m proud of our achievements and look forward to where this incredible journey takes us next!'

After gaining experience in merchandising, production, and running his own start-up in the US, John relocated to London to lead our product strategy. He works closely with design and oversees merchandising, production, e-commerce, customer insights, and sales forecasting. His rescue dog, Branson, keeps office morale high by attending fittings, inspecting lunches, and ensuring regular nap and scratch breaks are scheduled for the team.

"Though I’ve never considered myself a fan of vests, our collaboration with Air Mail has completely changed my perspective. After relocating from California to London, I quickly realised how indispensable this piece is for navigating the city's unpredictable weather. It's become a versatile staple in my wardrobe—layered under a raincoat or packed away for trips back to the U.S. to visit friends and family. Jessica is one of the Marfa Stance originals and leads in all aspects of wholesale and retail sales and operations. Her organisation and problem-solving skills have been a tremendous asset to our young, rapidly growing brand!

'I love the versatility of the Long Patchwork style, the two sides are so different but both striking in their own way. I find myself reaching to wear it every day, it really is like having two unique coats in one!'

Sam has been with the business for almost two years in the role of Finance Director. She holds the purse strings so we always try to keep her in good spirits!

'The fact that we use excess stock fabrics to make limited edition pieces means everything is really unique and I know that I’ve got something very special.'

The mastermind behind our online store. Chisato ensures all our new collections make it to the site on time and are optimised for users shopping from any location, device or channel. She loves a spreadsheet and is always on the lookout for new tech to help provide the best possible user experience.

'I love that I can wear my Patchwork Quilt from season to season. Layering up with a liner underneath for the colder months and adding a hood when it’s raining. Also, that each piece is designed to be enhanced rather than replaced.'

Originally from LA, we’re lucky that Neha chose to make London home. As our Senior Product Coordinator, Neha manages the entire product lifecycle, from working with design and our factories to produce and deliver all Marfa product, ensuring quality operations and timely completion.

'I realised that Marfa Stance really has solved wardrobe issues in my life because I love how the jackets are fully reversible and I can now plan a trip around one jacket.'

Many of you will know Zoe, whether meeting her in person in London and New York or virtually. She's your point of contact for any expert Marfa Stance styling advice and was Georgia's first employee at the time when she was operating Marfa Stance from home during the pandemic.

'The Parachute Vest is a fun and playful style and it’s great adding a Knitted Hood for a cosy feel. I love the idea of having endless possibilities when building on one style and evolving it throughout the years.'

As our Customer Relations Assistant at Marfa Stance, Askim manages all customer care related queries, ensuring our wonderful customers are informed and helped where needed. Askim, also supports with creating beautiful edits to keep our customers up to date with newness at Marfa, and special pieces we love to spotlight!
