Stemming from the desire to create outerwear that could transition between climate, occasion and styling preference, whilst remaining true to our pledge to reduce environmental impact; the reversibility concept was born.
DUAL FUNCTION. DOUBLE STYLE.
Whether it be function or feeling that determines the wearer's choice, we know that oftentimes one may be at the sacrifice of the other, resulting in the need for multiple purchases and adding to the already exacerbated issue of mass consumption.
Addressing this flaw in conventional outerwear, our reversibility concept sees pieces such as Aviator Jackets - traditionally bought for cold, yet dry climates - boast a cosy shearling side that can be reversed to a water-repellent coated nappa leather if caught in the rain. Without sacrificing style, our Patchwork Bonded Raincoats are a perfect example of a piece that can be worn on the monotone side to blend in on the everyday or reversed to the statement-making patchwork side, for days when you’re feeling a little bolder.
IN THE DETAILS
Designing a truly reversible jacket to seamlessly transition inside-out, without sacrificing quality or durability, requires expert knowledge of garment construction fused with an intuitive anticipation of the wearer's use.
Our outerwear comprises design features that are almost imperceptible to the untaught: reinforced, bound seams make for a neater transition between sides, elbow pleats and dropped shoulders allow for increased flexibility in arm movement, large pockets to both sides negate the need for a bag and, a cut-away, asymmetric cuff adapts to functional requirements such as typing on a laptop during a commute.
REVERSE, RENEW, THEN UPDATE
Our reversible concept is only a small part of what makes our garments unique. Wearers can reverse and instantly renew jackets, coats and vests, but creating a full look is only complete with the addition of our attachable collars, hoods and liners.
